Statement from Coach Muntz, Head Women’s Soccer Coach, Wesley College

A great team is marked by its resilience, its kindness and compassion,
its ability to unify and rise above any challenge.

My heart breaks for all the players, parents, coaches, staff, alumni and fans.
We must rally around each other and support the community.

To my current and former student-athletes specifically, you are loved
by so many and the moments shared on a team are unlike anything you
will experience in life. I’m forever grateful to you, your unrelenting
commitment and the everlasting memories we have shared.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out over the last three days, to check in on everyone. This really means a great deal to all of us. I will have more to say in the next few days/weeks, so look out for more social media posts and stories right here. Thank you and be safe everyone.
